Collaborating with DAAA for “The DAAA Annual Conference 2025” as Production Manager

The DAAA Annual Conference 2025

I had the pleasure of contributing as Production Manager to the DAAA Annual Conference held on 18 September 2025, organized by the Digital Assets Association Austria (DAAA). The conference, titled “Digitale Vermögenswerte & Kapitalmärkte – Innovation trifft Vertrauen”, brought together decision-makers, innovators, and industry participants to discuss the future of digital assets, capital markets, tokenization, and trust in emerging financial infrastructures. The official event recap describes it as a gathering of visionaries, decision-makers, and disruptors, and highlights the strong institutional and industry participation throughout the day.

A high-level event at the intersection of digital assets and capital markets

According to the official recap, the programme featured keynote contributions from Severin Gruber of the Austrian Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs, Energy and Tourism, Georg Harer of Bybit EU, and Véronique Breidert of Bitpanda Asset Management. It also included a panel with senior representatives from KuCoin EU, CFA Society Austria, and Invesco EMEA, alongside additional contributions focused on tokenization, institutional scaling, and digital asset infrastructure.

The event also introduced DAAA working groups covering Business, Law & Tax, and Digital Assets as an Emerging Asset Class, reflecting the association’s broader mission to support education, standards, partnerships, and ecosystem development in Austria’s blockchain and digital assets landscape.

My role as Production Manager

My role in this event was centered on production management and the coordination required to help deliver a professional and well-structured conference experience. In events of this kind, production work sits behind the visible programme but is essential to the overall quality of execution: aligning logistics, timing, technical flow, speaker transitions, and the practical details that allow a conference to run with clarity and consistency.

The official DAAA recap includes a dedicated acknowledgment of the conference production team and lists Jay Hani (Javad Farahani) among those recognized for their contribution.

Why this experience matters

Supporting the production of a conference like this was especially meaningful because it brought together several areas closely connected to my broader work: blockchain, digital assets, institutional collaboration, and the practical organization of innovation-focused environments.

Beyond academic and strategic work, I value opportunities to contribute to the operational side of high-quality events that create space for meaningful exchange across sectors. Conferences such as this one are not only platforms for discussion; they are also part of how emerging technology ecosystems build trust, structure dialogue, and strengthen collaboration between industry, research, and public institutions.

Acknowledgment

I am grateful to DAAA and everyone involved for the opportunity to contribute to the event. It was a privilege to support the delivery of a conference that brought together strong perspectives from across Austria’s and Europe’s digital assets and capital markets ecosystem.
